29/365 – Undiscovered Spot
A new favorite breakfast place found whilst on holidays.  Complete with a toy corner and an awesome wall to ride cars on 🙂

30/365 – Artist Choice
I was in unpacking, cleaning & grocery shopping mode today and didn’t touch my camera 🙁 but I did reflect A LOT on this little dude and his first day of school coming up tomorrow.  I wrote a little letter to my mate as this week’s Artist Choice.

To my dear snuggle shadow

Tomorrow my boy, it is with mixed emotions that we send you off to school for the first time.  You have been my little shadow for so long that I can hardly imagine you being away from me for so many hours in the week.  I am sad that both my kids are growing up so fast and at school but I am happy knowing that you are going to flourish just like your sister.  I am sorry that the books we collected today were not story books for you to read but I know how excited you are also at the prospect of learning how to write in them.   I am going to miss my constant snuggles but I can’t wait for the one at pick up – I know it is going to be the bomb!   I look forward to hearing about all your adventures, the things you have learned, the books you bring home to read and the friends you have made.  You are going to kick goals our independent and determined boy and may you win over your friends and teachers with your hilarous and entertaining ways.  Dream big!

Love Mum xx

31/365 – Hallway Light
I cannot believe these little fingers and feet are getting ready for their first day of school 🙁

32/365 – 10 or over F Stop
A nice way to ease into school with a Wednesday rest day at home.

33/365 – Pattern
He is forever lining his toys up.  He could play and play for hours lining his toys up and using his awesome role playing imagination.  From all accounts he is loving school but he literally runs inside to see his toys when he gets home – funny little fella.

34/365 – No back button focus
We can’t get him to ride his bike because “It doesn’t go as fast as my scooter mum”.

35/365 – Artist Choice
A classic Australian Summer picture.  Sun soaked locks, waterlogged lashes, sun kissed fingers and of course – a zooper dooper.
