Below are all our most frequently asked questions regarding property photography
How far in advance should I book?
It is best to book as soon as a property becomes available so you have access to times and dates that suit you.
When are you available for photo shoots?
I am available for photo shoots Monday to Friday during school hours. If outside school hours, arrangements may be made to accommodate.
How far do you travel?
I can travel throughout Gippsland but travel fees may occur if travelling 40kms out of Trafalgar.
How should I prepare my property for the photo shoot?
Minimal ‘things’ in and around the home make for the best property shoots – de-clutter the following distracting items:
- Tea towels
- Pet beds
- Bowls
- Toys
- Fridge magnets
- Tissue boxes
- Washing and pegs on the line
- Toothbrushes, beauty products & shampoos in the showers
- Cleaning products
- Phone chargers
- Pots and pans
- Spices
- Knife blocks & chopping boards
- Outdoor play equipment
- Hose
Things to leave or add to a property, which add personality and flair:
- Fresh flowers
- Cookbooks
- Nice cushions
- Beautiful bed linen
- Pretty lamps
- Rugs
- Art work
- Key furniture items
- Pot plants

What if the weather is overcast and raining?
This is perfect lighting for photographing houses because we don’t have to worry about harsh shadows or bright sunlight.
Who needs to be there on shoot day?
I would prefer if someone were on site at all times, either yourself, the builder, agent or property owner.
What am I purchasing when I pay for the photography?
You are buying a limited licence to use the images I provide for the marketing or the sale of the property. Photos may not be sold, leased or otherwise transferred to any other person including other owners or agents, without my permission.
How long will it take for the images to be ready?
All images will be ready and delivered to you within seven days of the photo shoot unless previously discussed and arranged.
How do I receive my images?
Images are uploaded to Shoot Proof to download via a private link. Images are provided in high resolution for print use and low resolution for use on web or social media. You will have seven days to download your images.
